The Language of Portals^TM

At LDS, we choose our words carefully. As such, a by-product of our consulting services is a consistent and common language that promotes meaningful dialogue during our portal solution engagements. We call this The Language of Portals^TM.

By using a common lexicon when discussing portal solutions, we are able to:

• Connect traditionally disparate business units within an organization. Common language of portal concepts can transcend organizational boundaries, from HR to Marketing and Sales to IT, and establish an environment where all stakeholders can readily understand each other.
• Engage senior stakeholders in high-value and impactful discussions to ensure that portal projects are funded and sponsored appropriately.
• Capture the “voice” of users by closely translating their desires and needs into a tangible, definable experience.

In response to popular demand, we have created a second edition of The Language of Portals. This new effort reflects the growing complexity of today's portal projects, and should be kept handy by all portal stakeholders.
